What data we collect

We may collect information you provide when using getquyn.com or contacting us, such as your email address, and technical data such as IP address and browser type. Blockchain transactions on the QYN network are public and recorded on the blockchain.

QYN Verify browser extension

If you install the QYN Verify browser extension, it operates with a single purpose: to help you assess the trustworthiness of the web pages you choose to view. When you open the extension, enable auto-verification, or explicitly request a check (for example via the right-click menu), the extension sends the content of the page you are viewing, and the associated URL, to our servers at rpc.getquyn.com so that we can calculate trust scores, AI probability estimates and manipulation signals.

We do not collect your passwords, payment details, private messages or other content from forms. The extension stores limited settings and a small history of recent verification results locally in your browser so you can revisit past checks. This extension data is not sold, is not used for advertising or credit decisions, and is used only to provide and improve the verification service.

We may aggregate or anonymise verification logs (for example counts of trusted or suspicious pages, or cryptographic hashes of results recorded on-chain) to improve our models and to monitor service health. These aggregates do not include raw page content in a form that can be used to reconstruct what you were reading.

How we use it

We use your data to operate and improve our services, respond to enquiries, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
