QYN vs Other EVM Blockchains

There are many EVM-compatible blockchains. How does QYN compare? This post looks at QYN vs other EVM chains in terms of speed, cost, developer experience, and focus. QYN is built for high throughput and verification, with a clear path to operating as infrastructure under UK regulation.

Speed and throughput

QYN targets up to 50,000 TPS and 3-second finality. That puts it among the fastest EVM chains. Many others have higher latency or lower throughput, which leads to congestion and fee spikes under load. For verification and other high-frequency use cases, QYN’s design prioritises consistent speed.

Cost

Verification fees on QYN are kept low. With high throughput, the network can handle volume without bidding wars for block space. That’s important for frequent verification checks and for users who don’t want to pay high fees to confirm authenticity. On testnet you can try it in a cost-free environment; see the testnet.

Developer experience

QYN is EVM compatible, so you use the same tools: Solidity, Hardhat, Foundry, and modern Web3 clients. The RPC is standard JSON-RPC. Documentation covers getting started, smart contracts, and EVM compatibility. If you’ve built on Ethereum or another EVM chain, you’ll feel at home.

Regulation and roadmap

QYN is designed as blockchain infrastructure and does not currently conduct regulated activities such as exchange operation, custodial services over customer assets, or public sales of cryptoassets. Mainnet is planned for Q4 2026, subject to applicable regulation. For teams that care about clear regulatory positioning, QYN aims to minimise regulatory perimeter by focusing on infrastructure only.
